Roofing, Gutters & More in Colorado Springs
Our service list isn't complicated: we fix roofs, replace roofs, and install new ones. We also handle gutters, metal systems, and flat roofing for commercial buildings across Colorado Springs.
Roof Replacement
After tear-off, we always check decking and replace what's needed. Soft spots mean moisture intrusion. The old roof was leaking longer than you realized. We use 7/16" or 15/32" CDX plywood depending on rafter spacing. New decking costs $75-$120 per sheet installed. We only replace what's actually damaged.

Storm Damage Repair
HAAG Certified Inspectors on staff for every storm damage assessment. We document per HAAG residential guidelines: hail hit density per test square, severity classification, functional vs. cosmetic damage distinction. Insurance adjusters trust HAAG methodology because it's the industry standard. Our supplementation process references FM 4473 hail ratings and manufacturer impact resistance specs when fighting for full replacement approval.

Metal Roofing
Corrugated metal and R-panel (exposed fastener) at $5-$8/sq ft installed for agricultural buildings, shops, carports, and covered patios in Colorado Springs. 29-gauge is budget, 26-gauge is standard. For residential, we recommend 24-gauge standing seam at $12-$22/sq ft. The aesthetics and longevity justify the premium. DaVinci composite shake and slate profiles offer the look of natural materials with metal's performance. Perfect for Colorado Springs HOA neighborhoods that restrict metal roofing appearance.

Shingle Roofing
Shingle color matters more than you think. Dark shingles absorb heat. Great for cold Colorado winters, harder on cooling bills in summer. Lighter colors reflect heat. Algae-resistant granules prevent black streaking. We bring shingle samples to your Colorado Springs home so you can see them against your siding and trim.

Flat Roofing
EPDM (rubber roofing) has a 50+ year track record as a flat roofing membrane. We install fully adhered EPDM with taped or glued seams over polyiso insulation. It's a great option for Colorado Springs building owners who want proven performance at a lower cost than TPO or PVC.

Commercial Roofing
Need a commercial roof coating? Silicone coatings over existing TPO, EPDM, or metal extend life 10-15 years for a third of replacement cost. Not every roof qualifies. The existing membrane needs to be in decent shape. We core sample and moisture scan to verify before we recommend it.

Gutter Installation
Seamless aluminum in 5" K-style is the standard for Colorado Springs residential. We use 6" K-style on larger homes, steeper pitches, or roof areas with high water volume. Downspouts are 2x3" on 5" gutters and 3x4" on 6" gutters. Matched to handle the flow.

Roof Inspection
Our inspection covers the roof and the attic. From the attic, we check for daylight through the roof deck, moisture stains on rafters, mold on sheathing, and ventilation function. Problems in the attic often indicate roof issues that aren't visible from the surface.

Skylight Installation
VELUX FS (fixed) and VS (vented) skylights installed with EDL flashing kits for shingle roofs. The multi-step flashing integrates with the surrounding shingle courses per IRC R903.2. We frame the curb with doubled 2x8 or 2x10 lumber (depending on rafter depth), install ice and water shield membrane around the entire curb perimeter, then set the skylight with factory sealant before weaving step flashing into the field. Top headwall flashing tucks under the upslope shingle course. Bottom sill pan diverts water onto the downslope shingles. Zero exposed sealant joints. Mechanical flashing only.
